Our History
The Mississippi Real Estate
Investors Association, Inc. (MS R.E.I.A.) was co-founded by
Edwin Brown and Jim Adams, III of
Brown
Dog Properties, LLC. As
professional wholesalers, each of the charter members started
MSREIA as a forum for offering wholesale properties to investors
along with the necessary tools to be successful.
Many a beginning investor has purchased a property with no idea
of what to do next. How do we select contractors? How do we manage
rehab projects? How do we market our now rehabbed properties? How
do we manage our rental portfolio? The questions are almost endless
and as a group we have the answers.
The founders started this group to offer a forum where everyone
wins. Our success as wholesalers is dependent upon your success
as investor buyers. We need you to be successful in order for us
to be successful. What better forum can you have as a beginner?
A local affiliate of the
National Real Estate Investor’s Association
(N.A.R.E.I.A.), MS R.E.I.A. has members from diverse backgrounds,
educational levels, and experience levels. We are a for profit corporation
domiciled in the state of Mississippi. Many of the charter members
have been providing high quality educational opportunities in the
Jackson Metropolitan Area and throughout the country for many, many
years.
Our greatest achievements are clear: they are the many successes
of our members.
